Print Shop @ Cal Surf

Our upstairs space has been home to many different things over the years from snowboard specific retail/rentals to art gallery to event space and even a fingerboard park.  In 2023, it was transformed into a full blown printshop. We create all of our shop branded merchandise in house as well as take on print jobs for outside clients.

Our Services

  • Screen Printing

    A versatile printing method that's most commonly used for t-shirts, sweatshirts, and posters. Due to the limitations of this method, artwork can only contain up to 4 colors.

  • Embroidery

    Nothing beats the high quality look and feel of embroidered pieces. We embroider on beanies, caps, sweatshirts, work uniforms, jackets, bags, and more!

  • Vinyl

    Offering both printed vinyl stickers and die cut vinyl decals. We can create everything from a promotional giveaway sticker to a pro window decal on your car or business.

  • Heat Transfer

    If you're looking for a full color, photo-like print on a garment or special effects like 3m reflective, heat transfers are the way to go.

Artwork Guidelines

Preferred File Type

Adobe Illustrator files such as .ai, .eps, or .pdf. Vector files create the best results and can be scaled to any size without losing quality.

Other Usable File Types

Pixel based files such as .jpeg, .psd, .png, .tiff, or .bmp can be used for printing. For these files to work, they must be 300DPI or larger at the intended print size.

*We understand everybody doesn't have access to digital art software and we'll gladly work with whatever file you provide. There may be additional artwork prep fees if we have to create/manipulate the file before printing.
